Alpha-ville was invited by Google to bring digital art to the Google IO Extended event that took place at XOYO London. Google IO is a developer conference, and the London Extended events were organised by 3Beards and Wonder.
For this project, Alba Corral created two types of visual experiences:
1. Real-time Digital Paintings
Alba presented a series of live digital paintings using processing and live drawing. Check out a couple of screenshots below:
2. Interactive Environment
We also experimented with a series of interactive visuals using kinect cameras to track the audience while they were dancing. The interactive environment invited people to participate in a playful live and virtual experience, where sound and visuals blended together.
Using custom software, Alba created imaginative and fun visuals that were synchronised with the music played by Last.fm DJ Miguel Pellitero, creating a unique interactive party experience.
