Dream:ON is a digital art screening event curated by Alpha-ville commissioned by Goethe-Institut London. Encompassing a unique and innovative perspective on contemporary art practice, the programme presents an exploration of the subconscious through the lens of artists using a variety of digital techniques to convey uncanny visions. The first event took place on Saturday 22 November 2014 at the Goethe Institut London featuring a screening followed by a panel discussion with artists Andreas Nicolas Fischer and Vera Maria-Glahn from FIELD.

Alpha-ville at Google IO Extended in London

Alpha-ville was invited by Google to bring digital art to the Google IO Extended event that took place at XOYO London. Google IO is a developer conference, and the London Extended events were organised by 3Beards and Wonder.
For this project, Alba Corral created two types of visual experiences:

On 17 January, Alpha-ville EXCHANGE took over the fourth floor of London’s Rich Mix. Attracting a diverse range of artistic practitioners and creative professionals, EXCHANGE was presented as an evolution of the 2011 Alpha-ville Festival which offered a unique space for artist to present their work and inspiration and for everyone in the room to explore collaboration and shared interests across disciplines. Informal, open and engaging, the day was a rare chance for cross-pollination between the art, design and tech communities.
Alpha-ville Live at BFI
Alpha-ville teamed up with BFI Southbank Sonic Cinema to present the UK premiere of Ryoichi Kurokawa’s audiovisual concert Syn_.
The event was held on 26th September as part of the BFI Sonic Cinema series and was Ryoichi’s first visit to the UK since 2010. A sold out NFT 1 opened its doors to a mind blowing 45 minute performance that exceeded expectations due to the exceptionally high quality of the sound and visual show.

Beyond Music+Arts Symposium
Beyond Music + Arts was a one-day symposium aimed at reporting on ground-breaking projects challenging forms and conventions in music and art through the use of digital technologies.
